Augason Farms Freeze Dried Sliced Strawberries come in a No. 10 can for long term storage. These cans are rated for up to 30 years of safe storage if unopened. Once opened, you can reseal the can with the included plastic lid for short term stoarge.
Each can has a total of 6.3 ounces of strawberries. It contains a total of 18 servings of strawberries at the recommended individual serving size of 1/2 cup of dried strawberries. This provides a total of 630 calories per can.
You can eat these right out of the can with no preparation needed or you can rehydrate them by letting them soak in warm water for about 15 minutes. Once rehydrated you can use them in any dish that nornally calls for fresh strawberries.
