My name is Chris Wright and I started PreppingSurvival.com in 2012 when I discovered disaster preparedness and survival skills through some friends that were really in to the whole scene. I realized that prepping was how I grew up because we were so far out in the country we didn't have any other choice. My interest in the survival skill sets grew from my love of camping and the outdoors in general.
