  1. Do these religious people know that actually trying to predict the date of the rapture is… bad or even sinful?
I’m religious myself and from what I’ve been told, thats a huge no no.

    1. @Wveth i also think it has to do with the fact that you can’t speak for god or something close.

When the time is right for a rapture. God is gonna give it to us.

    2. These shitheads are playing God by trying to decipher and predict what he’ll do next. Ultimately whatever our God plans is in his knowing, and resting goes against his teaching, this nut job and Jim Baker both should have their money redistributed to the people they destroyed.

  2. This was totally a US thing… never heard about it in Germany and I was a hardcore nerd then, spending my whole time gaming, reading news and watching YT.

    1. It was a joke more than anything. Only about a hundred people believed it. Theres a loony tune in every asylum. The usa is the third most populated country in the world it is likely to have a few bust out of the seams and make everyone laugh.

  3. I remember an episode of wife swap where an off the grid family had crippling debt because their 9 yr old daughter found the 2012 Mayan calendar end of the world meme. The family bought all sorts of rent to own furniture and the dad said, “no need to pay if the world ends”

  4. I’m an edgy atheist and I think that his calculations where off the world will end 20/20/2020. But all joking aside I feel bad for the old people who sold their homes
