  3. I recently bought 3 different styles of Ontario knives. Each one is great. I guess you know I have to get the Bowie now. 🙂 I have the Midland ER212 radio. I was planning on a 2nd hand crank/solar radio and will have to check into one like yours. The price seems right. Thanks for sharing the video !

  4. I wonder if there are actually are people who do not think through their preps from start to finish? “I stored whole grain cause they told me to” yet there is no means in the home to grind the grain? What good will that shiny oven be for a survivor who has never baked anything before? “Yeah, yeah, I got a flashlight ” but they have no spare batteries or a means to recharge? I believe and certainly hope the majority of folks in the prepper community have worked out their plan and even better, they have used their gear to test it and themselves. Can you imagine turning a newbie lose in the woods with a chainsaw for the first time immediately following a disaster? The wound from a kick-back that could have been easily treated at a local hospital might well be a death sentence for lack of proper treatment. This is a great selection of gear, some of which a few may not have considered owning before. Along with some spare parts, a well prepared individual or family could ride out severe and long term emergencies.

  5. Enjoy your videos on prepping my wife and I started getting serious after y2k. I live in Tennessee also near one of the major cities.we are presently looking for property now that our youngest kid is in college. Most of our prepping gear we have has been kept in other places until we find the right place to move. Also your comment on Kurt Saxon reminded me that I have a copy of his book The poor mans James Bond. Keep up the good work because more and more people are waking up to what’s going on in the world.

  6. Not necessarily among “most recommended prepper gear,” but most useful are extinguishes: house, stronghold, refuge, workshop, barn, and vehicles.
